Fretworked and Painted Iron
Florida Street Cultural Tour. The iron fretworked butterflies depict native species of the city of Buenos Aires, and preserve, in a large scale, their own external morphology and sizes. The words “Exchange, exchange” are engraved in their wings, representing the words most often pronounced by foreign currency street traders.
